UWC PRESIDENT AND PRIME MINISTER OF UKRAINE SIGNED MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION
(Kyiv). Ukrainian World Congress (UWC) President Eugene Czolij and Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Ukrainian World Congress. The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the UWC concluded this Memorandum “recognizing the need for effective joint action of the Ukrainian State with Ukrainians beyond its borders, defending human, civil and national rights of Ukrainians in the world, consolidating the independence and sovereignty of Ukraine, securing its territorial integrity, furthering the democratic process in Ukraine, its Euro-integration and Euro-Atlantic aspirations.”
The UWC, in addition to UWC President Eugene Czolij, was represented at the signing of the Memorandum by UWC Treasurer Zenon Potichny, UWC Vice Presidents Olena Koszarny and Tamara Gallo-Olexy, Ukrainian Congress Committee of America President Andrew Futey, Director of the UWC Mission to Ukraine Serhiy Kasyanchuk, UWC Director of Humanitarian Initiatives Victor Hetmanczuk, UWC Liaison Officer to International Organizations Maryna Iaroshevych and prominent Ukrainian community member from Canada and producer of the feature film “Bitter Harvest” Ian Ihnatowycz.
“The signing of this Memorandum is yet one additional important step in strengthening the cooperation of the UWC with the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, foremost in furthering internationally the interestsofUkraine andtheUkrainian people,”stated UWC President Eugene Czolij.
