The Ukrainian Canadian Foundation of Taras Shevchenko rang in the New Year by acknowledging James and Louise Temerty’s generous $5 million gift to the Our Legacy Our Tomorrow Campaign in the December 31st issue of The Globe and Mail.Their gift supports the Shevchenko Foundation’s Community Development Program, which provides grants to organizations and individuals for national and local festivals, community concert events, and community development projects.
As the Shevchenko Foundation’s Media Partner, The Globe and Mail provides a platform to inform all Canadians about the $20 million Our Legacy Our Tomorrow Campaign. To date, the Shevchenko Foundation has raised over half of its $20 million dollar campaign goal.
